If you can only come for one weekend, the first week Sturgis Rally Concerts usually have some outstanding concerts. If you can only come for a few days and want to experience the Rally in all its glory, come on Monday through Wednesday.

Sturgis isn't kid-friendly, but it can be if you want it to be. For a family-friendly version of the Rally, you'll want to avoid nighttime activities when things tend to get wild. You'll also want to avoid hotels that host many attendees because rally-goers frequently like to party late into the night.

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is sponsored by Harley-Davidson, and it's one of the biggest rallies in the world. It's held annually in Sturgis, South Dakota and the Black Hills region, and the event takes place over 10 days.
